Jeremiah 6:25-27

²⁵^(A)Do not go out into the field
And ^(B)do not walk on the road,
For the enemy has a sword;
^(C)Terror is on every side.
²⁶O daughter of my people, ^(D)gird yourself with sackcloth
And ^(E)roll in ashes;
^[a]^(F)Mourn as for an only son,
A lamentation most bitter.
For suddenly the destroyer
Will come upon us.

²⁷“I have ^(G)made you a tester of metals and ^[b]an assayer among My people,
That you may know and test their way.”
